Edit 7/20/2017: Do not buy. It stopped being able to connect to the internet. I cannot get it to work, even with the standard set of steps that used to work. I think they must have removed the servers for this application, as everything works locally (over wifi), but not when I attempt to connect via my phone's data plan. Oddly, the camera still manages to send email alerts to me, so I know it's not a connection issue with the phone.

I'd give it a 4.5 / 5 stars really, but it rounds to 5 / 5. The -0.5 stars is due to the very, very non-English friendly instructions. My favorite example is that when I sync the camera's clock with my phone's, the following message pops up: "Warm Tips Operation Succeed".

Anyway I've used all the features for this camera, and everything works as expected except that the motion sensor sometimes gives a false alarm even on the lowest setting for night time view (I've seen a speck of dust float by in the screenshotted images, and that was enough to trigger the motion detector even on sensitivity 1). Anyway, I'd say to expect on average at least 1 false alarm every 8 hours. It's not exactly ideal, but at least it's manageable.

So far this camera is great. First off this thing does not feel cheaply made at all. I assumed that the part that looks like chrome would just be a piece of plastic with a coating similar to aluminum foil. But, to my surprise, it is actually metal. Second, the set-up was a breeze. I'm not really an instruction manual kind of guy so assumed that I could figure it out easily enough. I turned the camera on, downloaded the app to my android phone, and about 2 minutes later opened the app and the app found it immediately. The secret is to change your wifi settings from your home network to the wifi signal coming from the camera. Then once you are connected you can easily connect your new camera to your home wifi network. If you do not want to be able to monitor the camera from outside your home you can skip that step, but what would be the point of having this device if not to keep an eye on your home while you are away. This camera came with the screws needed to mount it to the wall but then it is out in plain view. I keep mine behind my tv and no one has noticed it yet unless they knew it was there.

The distance is better than I had hoped. I left the room and deleted the files that it recorded during my setup. Then came into the room through a door that is 29 feet (I measured for the purposes of this review) away and it started recording. It took about a minute and a half for the recording to be available for me to watch from the app.

The daytime picture is pretty decent and the surprisingly enough the night time video is also better than expected. This not an HD camera by any means, but from the 29 feet away that I was talking about a moment ago it was obvious that it was me in the video. The video is not as good at 29 feet in the dark but that is kind of understandable.

So, like I said this device is pretty sweet. The set-up was a snap and the distance that it picks up movement is better than the 25 feet that was advertised. I have only had this thing for a day but so far it works great.

I like home security and monitoring what is going on in and around my home. But not all IP cameras are made the same.

This camera has features you will not find in others like 2 way audio and Motion detection push alerts. It features night vision up to 30' and an automatic day and night switch. It includes automatic loop recording similar to a dash cam with the motion detector with email alerts.

The camera is heavy. This is from the metal mounting swivel bracket. The camera is a great looking camera and has great positioning capabilities from the mount. It is very easy to connect to your home wifi. The email function is awesome. Now when my boys get home from school I get an email video that they were able to get in the house with no issues. This is awesome piece of mind. I live in a gated community but there are weirdos wherever you live. The video is clear and vibrant. Now I just need to get additional cams to mount around the house in other areas.

With experience setting these up through trial and error. This little camera was seamless and easy. Literally took 3 minutes to load the app, find cam in my WiFi list, connect, add, disconnect, reconnect to my network and boom. There it is, live feed and clear as day.. My only gripe, there is no tf card included and the power cord is so short, useless, it should be at minimum 6 feet. It is 3 feet long.

The camera was delivered as promised. However, the box did not contain either the gloves or the instructional CD. It is all but impossible to contact Conbrov directly to resolve issues. The camera appears to be made of quality materials and the color camera transmits good video. The problem is that the small instruction manual is not helpful in setting up the first WiFI connection. It took 20 -25 attempts to connect before I stumbled on the correct procedure. I definitely recommend adding a 32 Mini SD card to the camera. Once the connection is set, it is easy to access the camera from a remote location. I am using the system to keep track of what the dogs are doing when we are away. So far, it appears that other than the instructions and omitted items, Conbrov got the product right.

UPDATE: I ordered and received a second camera to cover another room in our home. Again, it arrived quickly without damage to packaging. Again, the box did NOT contain the gloves or CD. Again, the enclosed instructions are not in line with what steps are needed to activate the camera. A quick trip to the manufacture's site provided adequate instructions and in less than 5 minutes the camera was functioning properly. Both cameras are working as advertised and accomplishing what I purchased them to do.
