The unit came in a nice pristine box, giving me a good first impression. The instruction booklet is written very poorly in broken English! I first tried to power the unit with my existing doorbell wiring, but it didn't work. It worked only when I installed the 18650 rechargeable batteries. After installing the unit and the software on my iPhone, and making Wi-Fi connection with my router, all functions tested Ok (including video recording on motion detection). Pairing with the wireless chime that I had bought with the unit also went well. The audio had a lot of noise. I took the unit off its mounting base and moved to a new location within a few feet of my Internet router to see if the annoying noise would go away. It did not. After an hour, I went out to test the motion detection function again. The unit sent a notification to my cell phone but failed to record a 15 sec. video on the TF memory card per the setting in the software. I checked all settings and tried over and over again .... no video recording at all, only the dumb notification "Motion detected." I reset the unit to its factory setting, uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my cell phone, and repeated the whole setup process, hoping the unit will work right again. None of this helped to bring back video recording on motion detection! In sheer disappointment, after wasting ~3 hours of time, I decided to box up the unit and return it.

In short, don't waste your time and money on this video doorbell (and all the ones that look exactly like it and sold under different brand names). These are nothing but very low-end unreliable toys. The software (Tosee) is also half-baked and not ready for prime time.

I'm in love with this doorbell. I love how they give us a variety of sounds/music to choose from (20+). It's super easy to install, no batteries required, 100% wireless! There are 3 volume settings to adjust how loud you want the chime to sound. Another plus is the temperature displayed on the screen. Great buy!

This is a great wireless door bell, it doesn't need battery, just plug the receiver indoor, it has many different music tones to set, and it can show the room temperature, it is really useful, the signal is so strong. When the air conditioner is working, I can know someone is coming.
