The con to this is that you cannot alternate the jacks. They all go the same way so they do not work with 90 degree connectors.

I bought two of these (eventually), one is fully populated at my entertainment center, and the other one, behind my TV, is using only four of the six ports; the other two cables go on to a projector. I was able to use an off-shelf-brand of blank to fill the two ports I was not using. The pig tail connectors are great strain relief, even if they add an extra connection and six inches to the run. I use electricians tape to secure my cables to these pig tails.
The cons to this are 1) the pigtails add a lot of volume to shove back into a wall, especially an insulated wall, 2) there are no markings on the face place or pigtails, such as numbers, to identify cables. As I connected the (color-coded) HDMI cables, I marked the faceplate with an indelible marker, it looks sloppy, but is hidden from view.
