I unsuccessfully tried for some time with regular splitters and switches to connect four 1080p TV's and one high res computer monitor to my computer and the DISH signal. I just learned about these multi-res splitters. Instantly fixed all my issues! Happy happy joy joy.

It works, but the instructions could be a whole lot better

Terrible instructions; they seem simple but actually don't help very much. First off I have an issue with the stated supposed ease of firmware upgrade. The instructions mention to upgrade by copying-in a .bin file but there is no such file in the device or on the website. Then I had an issue with getting one TV to detect 4K with the second TV downscaled to 1080P, it kept passing 1080P to both TVs. The 4K TV had to be the 1st HDMI port, and I had to switch the downscale mode after both TVs were on.

AppleTV to two Hisense 40" 1080P TVs.
Used double sided tape and mounted behind the first TV.
The farthest TV required the use of a 30' active fiber optic HDMI cable for the TV to see a signal. Regular copper HDMI at that length saw no signal.
