Here is my take. It is smaller than I expected. Also there are a ton of little pull strings all over it. I spent some time removing the redundant ones
I also cable tied the excess straps. The good. The construction is sturdy and rugged. Lots of pockets, velcro etc. It looks cool. Will make a nice range bag. I took a pic to show how it looked when I finished it.

Nice bag, made well with large pockets and a huge main compartment. The only thing (at first) that I didn't like, was the zippers on the top and main cargo area......they face what would be the rear (or back) of the bag, instead of facing out. Not a big deal and I'm use to it now.

I ordered the standard size (small) bag after much consideration about which one to order. This size fit my needs perfectly - Glock 23, snubnosed revolver and plenty of room for ammo ( 1 box +)and mags in the main compartment, Galaxy 4 phone, ipod, 2 tins of tobacco, 2 pipes, glasses, 20 oz Yeti style coffee themos(on the side, not zipped), as well as misc odds and ends. This is not a concealed weapons bag, it is a gear bag so drawing from it would not be advised. I use it to carry my daily articles. The construction seems robust with plenty of pockets inside as well as out. Molle attachments everywhere if you wanted to add compatible pouches. - All in all I'm thrilled with this bag

This is a very cool bag. The straps are a bit complicated, but that just raises the cool factor. Took me a minute to figure out how to stash the waist belt (I think this is totally unnecessary in the larger bag that I got). Lots of compartments and room. Good for a range bag, day hike or even an over night. Happy happy happy!

I NEVER write reviews.. those follow up emails begging for a rating are the only annoying part of shopping on Amazon... sadly there's no way to stop them :/ This time I was SO impressed by the product that I am writing this proactively, without prompting by the automated system.
Even at full price this would be an outstanding bag but at the current reduced price it's a bargain like none I've seen in these days and times... Very well made, great organization. The inclusion of the padded shoulder strap was nice surprise when I opened the main compartment! I'm sure that regularly loaded with mags this thing will hold up.
