Let me first say that I have been riding bare carbon shell saddles (1st generation Flite Evolution) for many years. They aren't for everyone, but have always worked for me. What I like best is that they are so easy to move around on- making subtle adjustments... after riding them for so many years, I always feel "stuck" on a padded saddle. The other key to a carbon saddle is that they have to flex a bit... which means you have to be heavy enough to flex them. Every guy under around ~170lbs I know who tried the flite hated it. Something's gotta give, and if the rigid saddle is flexing you, rather than the other way around, you're gonna have a bad day.
I had a cache of saddles which over the years was slowly depleted. Lost 2 in the last year- one to a crash, the other I just wore out- shorts slowly (lots of years) sanded away the top resin, exposing raw carbon fiber. With replacement Flites now fetching ~$400 on ebay, I needed to find a new saddle solution.
At this price, I figured it was worth rolling the dice to see how this saddle compared. In a nutshell, I am really impressed. Way better finish than I expected, and it does everything as well as my Flite Evo. Sub 100g is just a bonus. Took me all of about 2mins to find my comfort spot on it. To me, it feels just a little less flexible than my Flites... not better or worse, just a bit different.
FWIW, it went on to a full suspension 29er mountain bike. I've been using it almost exclusively on mountain single-track- lots of rocks, ruts, and rough surfaces.
The only remaining question is durability. Time will tell how these carbon rails hold up.
Just ordered 2 more.

Light and Harsh

Great way to shave a half pound off your bike.
But...
I generally don't like a lot of padding either on my saddle or in my shorts.
But this saddle is too harsh for me.
Would be great for a 25 mile time-trial.
Or around town.
But for a 60+ mile ride - even I can't take it.
Went back to a 300 gram saddle with some give in it.

Good seat. I thought it was going to break on the first pothole or bump, but I was completely wrong. The only bad thing about this seat is the glossy finish; it's very delicate so you have to take care of it.

Very light. When combined with a carbon fiber seat-post, the combo is insanely light. Not only did it drop the weight of the bike, the center of gravity (CG) of the bike dropped, aiding in stability! I've now put this on to two bikes. For comfort, I recommend that it angle down in the front apposed to being horizontal with the ground. This went onto a 2012 Trek 19" Marlin MTB with out issue.
this carbon saddle looks really nice and light BUT not recommended in a LONG RIDE
