Fun at first but kids got bored of them quickly

These are fun little bots at first, but they get old quickly.
I have five children of varying ages and thought these would be a great way to keep them occupied. I pulled up the website, downloaded all of the iPad apps, pulled out the markers and banner paper and spent a lot of time to make sure we knew everything there was to do with these things. In the end there isn't a whole lot you can do with them and the kids got bored fast. The packaging they come in keeps the little bots in place but makes it very difficult for little hands to get them out of their very secure spots. This eventually led to my six year old breaking one of them. In the garbage it went.
Save your money and get something a little better thought out and programmable.

Fascinating, creative, and challenging for my 5 and 7 years old grandsons. Even their dad enjoys "playing" with the robots and figuring new patterns for them to follow.
