Because of other reviews with pieces arriving broken, I was a little nervous ordering this item, but this was the only ladder-type shelf I could find that would fit in the space I was trying to fill. I'm pleasantly surprised, though! They arrived in a timely manner, were easy to assemble, had no broken pieces, had no funny smell, and feel surprisingly sturdy. They also look lovely. The ONLY thing that was amiss was the metal branding sticker on one of the shelves was not correctly centered (pictured) but I plan on pulling it off and painting over that area, if needed. Looking forward to finding plants and decorative items to put on these.

Great just what I needed. I stained to match other wood in my bathroom! It took some searching for the right size... But I finally found it. And , no, I really did NOT want to stain it , but the unfinished wood would not have looked ok. So I used Bombay magahony and a week later wa la. I would put anything very heavy on ir, but perfect for my use as shown!!!

Mine just arrive early morning today.got assembled, It was long time to assemble. calm & patient is needed. The package is perfectly knit and no damage at all not even a scratch! I am happy and so glad to have this, very perfect in my daughter's room. All parts are perfect & it's just so gorgeous.! I would highly recommend this item. I was looking for a ladder shelf for over the toilet storage in my bathroom. Pottery Barn and Urban Outfitters both make really nice ones, but at $300+ I started looking for other options. I figured there was no reason I couldn't purchase a regular ladder shelf that could be repurposed as an over the toilet storage shelf, simply by just not installing the bottom two shelves. After lots of measuring and research, I was hopeful this one would work and I'm happy to report that it does! So I'm writing this review in an effort to save someone else the time and energy I spent researching, reading reviews and Q&As, hoping that someone else had already tried to do what I was doing. I'm really happy that it worked out - it looks great in my bathroom and is still stable even without the bottom two shelves. I did adhere the top shelf to the wall just as an extra precaution. I would have given this five stars, but I think they skimped a little bit on the overall quality, there were a few minor scratches and these sticker like screw covers. None of those take away from the overall aesthetic though and at this price point, I would definitely recommend purchasing.

Quite good, the only problem though is that the shelves are a bit wobbly(? well with some pressure, not too much, you can move the shelves a bit) even tho they were put together properly. Other than that they are quite secure. Though it looks really nice! If you want this, don't put heavy books (like a bunch of text book) on it. Some notebooks and light reading books here and there are fine. Light items like the picture is fine as well. I still put textbooks on it because its secure enough to support it.
