I just received these so I don't know how much light they let in, but I don't care. They are just gorgeous. They are made as well as any drapes I've gotten that cost much more. They look just like the photo. You can't tell by the photo, but fabric is really nice. Some of the reviews made me nervous. I'm am glad I went ahead and got them since the large majority were positive. Also, I did get them in two days.

The pair I rec'd did NOT look like the photo. I really wanted the green to fit the decor I have, but this set is MOSTLY yellow. They look ok, but I am disappointed. I had to buy a third panel for coverage of the window, but still wish they had been as advertised.
