A friend who recently sprained her ankle told me about these socks (recommended by her orthopedist). I am a runner and have been using KT tape for plantars fasciitis to minimize pain during and after races. Upon researching, I learned of potential benefits of a compression sock. I ordered these socks and received them so quickly that I was able to wear on just the one foot during a regular day prior to trying out on a 5 mile run. It was amazing how quickly I noticed a difference. The sock fits great. It is thin enough that I can wear with my running socks. It wraps my foot with support. I love that it has a heel which seems to help ensure the sock never moves. I have had no problem with the fit in my shoes with my running sock over. My plantars hasn't bothered me at all since wearing the sock.
Quality is excellent. Couldn't be more pleased.

I've only had two episodes in my life of plantar fasciitis. Both came out of nowhere, no warning. I have a pretty high threshold for pain, and with plantar, it is off the scale. The dead giveaway, is that it's always worst in the morning, right after waking up. Agony. There are things you can do to minimize the duration and severity, but do it right away. Luckily for me, each time I had an episode, I dealt with it immediately, and each time it was gone in about 3 days. Specific exercises for the feet, control inflammation (I used turmeric spice and penetrex cream), foot soak in epsom salts, and use compression socks. The Bitly socks provide INSTANT relief from the agonizing pain, and allowed me to function during the day, which would have been impossible otherwise. Upon putting them on, 80% of the pain was immediately relieved.
As I said, my two episodes of plantar were thankfully brief, so I don't know how these socks hold up in the long run with washing. But to tell the truth, even if they were throw away one use only (which they are not) it would be worth the money for the pain relief they provided. If you suffer from plantar, get these socks for pain relief. And when the plantar comes on, treat it immediately and aggressively for a quicker recovery time.

I just bought these Compression Socks and LOVE THEM! The socks have gradual compression to support the arch. They are a thin nylon so I can still wear socks over them if needed to cover my toes.

My plantar fasciitis was so bad that my heal and arch would suddenly be in pain even sitting on the couch watching TV. To alleviate the pain I would have to sit up and massage the foot or start rolling it on a rolling pin. This is the first time I can remember in months where I could watch an entire TV show without thinking about my feet.

I also wasn't able to walk around the house barefoot, and I always needed to wear shoes with my orthodics. Now I can wear these socks without shoes. And best yet, I can now wear my flip flops around the house in the summer! I haven't been able to wear flip flops in quite some time because I always needed to wear shoes with the orthodics.
I realize they are expensive, and I hesitated for a few months to buy them. I got to a point where I would pay anything to relieve the pain. And these socks are worth every penny. I'll probably buy another pair so I can have a spare while the other pair is in the wash.

They come in different sizes, so you have to figure out what size works for you. It was easy for me - I have tiny feet (size 4 US, 34 Eu) - so I went with a small, and they fit perfectly.

P.S. It's also the first time I can remember in a long time that my first steps out of bed were "normal" and I didn't have to hobble and limp until my feet loosened up. :D

Love the product so far! Just went running with them on and I had no pain in my foot from my plantar facitis whatsoever. The reason I'm only giving it four stars though is because they're kind of tight. As in, they cut off the circulation in my feet. I'm a size six women's shoe, so I figured, since I was on the end of the spectrum of the size chart for the mediums, I shouldn't order a size up because then they'd be too big. I honestly don't know if that would've been the case. Wearing them now, I think it would be too big, but these are also definitely tight. I figure I'd have to go a half size up, maybe? Unfortunately, those do not exist! Not sure I'll be able to wear them all day but I'll definitely be wearing them while running. Good product, nice material, arrived on time and undamaged. Just be sure to order a size up from what the size chart tells you if you have thick legs! (Yes, I have hair on my legs. It's called being human. Sue me.)

For as cliche as it sounds, these compression socks have changed my life. I have severe plantar fasciitis in both feet and have been struggling for
years to find some relief: steroids, cortisone shots, physical therapy, braces, inserts, and the list goes on. My podiatrist told me the only way
to relieve it was surgery. As a mother of two highly active young boys that is not an option. I have been proactive stretching, icing and resting my feet but still deal with the pain and swelling on a daily basis. That has all changed. The first time I put on the compression socks I literally breathed a sigh of relief. For the first time in years, my feet weren't killing me. After a few days of testing I have found that I get the most benefit when I wear them overnight. I no longer dread the first steps out of bed. The overall swelling and pain has been lessened throughout the day as well. For me, these compression socks are a godsend. I am finally able to workout at the gym without paying for it later. Thank you for making a product that has changed my life in such a profound way!
