Easy assembly. Good value.

Great rack for the money. Our bikes were a hassle to put on the frame hanging rack we were using. This rack supports from wheels and attached to frame from side. Much easier to load and lock in place. Rack comes almost completely assembled. Works with 1 1/4 and 2 inch receivers. The mounting bolt can be tightened to limit movement of rack.
Great bike rack!

This bike rack was easy to put together. Super light weight! This rack weights about half the weight of my previous racks. The rack barely even moves when installed. Previous racks used to wobble and move a lot when I'd hit a bump but little to no movement with this one. Fast and easy to put my 29" mtb on it. Great rack!
Great Bike Rack for the money. Weight of bike stays on Tires, best for a Carbon Fiber frame.

Had this rack for just over a month. Rack has been great to carry Wife's carbon fiber QR Triathlon bike and sons small Mt. bike too. Rack even folds up and allow to stay on car and close Garage door. Only sites out about 14-15 inches from trailer hitch when folded up. Straps that go on bike wheel are long and work from both road bike and Mt. bikes. They even seem so long that they would work for a fatty mt bike, but do not have one to test with. With the tri bike do have carbon fiber race rims and do use a small piece of foam form water pipe or pool noodle to cushion the bike rims and not ratchet the 2 wheel clip too much.

Only reason for 4 vs 5 starts is 2 items.
1) The strap system on the upright center bar that attaches to the middle of the bike frame. This strap is not permanently attached and have almost lost them every time. That could use a re-design.
2) The wrench they supply does not work with my factory Chevy Traverse receiver. The space between the bumper and the chain hooks will not fit the wrench when tightening to next rotation on nut. Have to use my own adjustable wrench (pictures).
Happy using it after 2 weeks

I like the rack. It is easy to install, sturdy, and holds the bikes securely.
I don't like that the wrench included with the rack does not fit the bolt that secures the rack to the hitch. Including the correct wrench, or better yet, having a handgrip on the bolt head, would be much better.
Thanks for listening.

I just bought a couple new bikes and want to keep them from getting scratched and banged up. This stile of rack is what I wanted for that purpose. Other racks of this style looked like they may do the job well enough but I noticed a couple things about this one that drew me toward it. The build quality looked better and the wheel straps appeared to be much more user friendly (quicker and easier) to strap the wheels down instead of the typical material style . Also the vertical bar has an adjustable pad that holds the strap in place as you are positioning the bike. All of my expectations were met. The rack holds the bikes firmly. The rack is light and plenty strong for it's job and appears like it will handle the weather reasonably well but I will always remove mine and store it my garage after the ride is through. On the down side it is priced a little high at $166 but then so are some of the others. I would recommend this to my friends. It takes me a little over 5 minutes to get the bikes ready to go on this SportsRack which could be done faster, but I am careful and picticular with my new bikes. A receiver pin lock is offered to lock it to the reciver but it can easly be unbolted at another point. I use a cable with a loop (eye) at each end and a padlock. The cable goes through the hole in the receiver where a trailer's safty chains would connect and both ends meet at the rack where it pivits to fold. At that point there is a bolt hole that is not used (there are two holes for holding the rack position but only one is used at a time; so the other is available for the lock.). Attach a padlock through that hole including through the cable loops. This secures the rack much better then the reciver pin lock while you are off riding. If before or after your bike ride you need to lock up your bikes, run a seperate bike lock cable through the bikes as well (all wheels and frame).
