Probably the best spreader on the market. Upgrading from a hand crank spreader so this will give me more accurate spread. Directions need more clarity but it's still manageable to get it put together in 20-30min. Socket wrench and crescent wrench a must.
The mixer in the container is a cotter pin and does a poor job of feeding product onto the yard

This spreader took about an hour to assemble. Parts were OK, hoped for stainless steel but no such luck. Once assembled it didn't look quite as cheap as when it was being put together. No guides to control application, so ended up staining my sidewalk and drive. The mixer in the container is a cotter pin and does a poor job of feeding product onto the yard. Found a larger cotter pin at local hardware store and it helped a bit. Really needs an auger style impeller to feed the spreader. Wasted a lot of time searching for parts, doing the assembly and removing chelated iron stains from my concrete. I would send it back but have invested way too much time. Don't waist your time with this broadcast spreader.
If you want a sturdy reliable spreader look no further.

I've had this for a year now. LOVE it! Totally worth the money. I kind of wish I would have got the commercial one since I don't have a flat surface yard. This one works very well but I'm sure the commercial one would be even better.
