so lets start with the most important thing. this metal will hold up to slicing, and dicing, its not cheap or weak, and it wont chip. Next it is full tang, alot of "swords" will just be rat tails that would break with a real swing, this will not. Next, the edge, this sword comes sharp out of the box, it will slice right through what you throw at it, fruit, targets. Its not those thousand dollar ones, so don't expect to go through mats of bamboo, but if you know what your doing, this is the sword for the apocalypse, fruit ninja, extra detailed cosplay, or maybe you want a competent wall hanger. whatever your need, this is about as real as you'll get for the price range, you cant really do better on a budget. and finally the Damascus. I am sure this is real Damascus it is not acid etched, doesn't wear off, and i can see the lasers on the edge. great sword. only issue at all is balance, its a bit heavy, but its a little unbalanced. second is the sheath, the inner wood of the sheath will get on the blade. while that is annoying, sheathing it will put wood on the blade, but clean it after every use and you'll be fine.
remember its a real weapon, and to respect it so you don't do harm to yourself or anyone else.

Almost what it said but, although the blade is sharp, it had several nicks in it that will take several hours to work out. Still, for less than $70 it is well built and I'm very pleased with this sword. It's heft is exactly right for the type it is and the black damascus is beautiful.

Extremely sharp very well made once you get the wax off of the blade it is very sleek and has a nice shine to it if you use light clear machine oil to clean wax off it will cut things straight out of the box very comfortable grip and it is slightly heavy but makes you know it was made well for the price of this sword it is worth it to buy I'd pay 250$ for a sword like this wasn't expecting it to be so well made and look so amazing
