Sadly I became allergic to lake sand!?!?! These save me so that I can still go enjoy my favorite place on earth. Worn one pair for the summer - they are holding up well, including walking on the concrete sidewalk. Some sand gets in - but not enough to be uncomfortable or bug me.

Took these on a trip to the Oregon Coast. They worked awesome!!!!! Made it so much easier walking over the gravel to the beach sand, protected my feet on the sand and when we went into the water it really helped when we were walking over the rocky areas. Got minimal sand in the inside when we were in water thanks to the velcro straps. Read the sizing guide and order true to size..I have wide feet (8.5 4E mens) and ordered a medium which was a size up and they were slightly too big.

I used these on the beach and under my sandals when I go kayaking. These socks are great to keep the sand and other small stuff off your feet and from between your toes. Great for hot sand too. Not made for heavy use but if you want them for that just wear them under your tennis shoes or sandals. Water goes right through these but the small stuff doesn't which makes them a must have if you spend much time at the beach or going in and out of the water.

These socks are light weight and thin enough to wear with beach shoes. They don't have a hard bottom so if walking around on ground shoes are needed. The small hole allows some sand to get in the sock but. It nearly as much as bare feet. They dry quickly.

I was finally able to use these socks while on vacation in Florida. We stayed 7 days and I was on the beach everyday. While not the most flattering look on my feet,at 56 years old, it's all about comfort now. I walked in heavy sand, walked in the surf and even on all those shells that had washed ashore. Not once did the socks slip and very little sand got in. There is no comparison between these socks and the typical beach/water shoes. Thanks for a great product and happy feet!
