Good Quality Cable For Mobile Video

This video wiring cable with power connection wires is of good quality. It should work fine with most vehicles. However, I have a 2006 Chevy extended cab Silverado and it wasn't quite long enough. I should have ordered a longer cable. Instead, I had to buy an RCA cable coupler and an additional RCA cable to make it reach. Not an ideal situation.

This cable worked okay but was too short for my application.
I have a small G.M. suv with the license plate in the liftgate. Had to add an extension for the last 18" needed.
Six meters is about 18 1/2 ft. so a 20 foot cable would have been perfect.
The red lead goes to the red (power lead) and the black (if you have one) goes to ground.
You need to run a separate wire from the reverse power line to trigger the camera on.

Great concept. Lots of different options for hooking up reverse camera. I took power from one of my rear back up lights to power my camera. I then used this to connect to that same wire. This keeps me from looking for the reverse wire in the dash harness. I'd rather have a splice on a rear tail lamp harness than my underdash harness.

My Auto-Vox camera wire was about 2ft short, bought this to extend the wire, this wire seems to be better quality than what came with the camera, after installing this cable as an extension the camera showed no degradation in image quality.
