I had bought this for my daughters hospital photos. She was 6 pounds and this fit great. Since the top is tied in the back it can fit all sizes without noticing. The headband can be tied so it can fit different head sizes. Since the bottom is one size and can't be tied the OB nurse tucked it under my daughter body and we didn't notice. I plan on using this outfit for my daughter 6 m9nth and 12 month photos to see comparison of how much she has grown.

Really impressed with the quality for the price. The tail was enormous on my five and a half pound preemie, but it has a drawstring waist and our photographer made it work with some careful tucking and arranging. The accessories were exactly as pictured. The top was also quite large for such a small baby but for a photoshoot, not a problem.
I don't think this would be practical as a costume to be worn for a long time, but for photos it's really adorable.

This was a baby shower gift for a new little girl with a mermaid themed room. It will serve as photo prop and Halloween costume. It's very adjustable and well constructed.
