Best travel journal I've found

Very nice journal. I spent a good while trying to decide between several different journals and I landed on this one. Glad I did. It's the perfect size for keeping on hand during travel. I'll be studying in Mexico for six weeks and this will be absolutely perfect to keep track of my daily experiences. It's very pretty, and I love that it's so easy to refill and that it has the card/photo pockets and a zipper pouch (I'll likely be holding on to ticket stubs and mini instax shots, so this will perfect for that). I'm very happy I chose this journal over the others I was looking at!

The most common critical reviews that I read complain about the scratches, small size and missing parts. Well, leather is going to get scratched and scuffed unless you keep in put away and never use it. IMO, scratches, over time, give it personality.
The size is in the description so get a ruler before you order to make sure that is what you want. 7Felicity does make a 6.2 x 4 inch journal which is a little bigger than this one. It comes with border stitching/trim and has a nicer looking closure slot but I did not order it because it didn't have any reviews. I will probably go ahead and order the 6.2 x 4 now that I know they have quality products and their product descriptions are true.

It's a great little notebook to carry around. It fits conveniently in my purse. I have taken to using it to keep notes and to do lists throughout the day. There are two different kinds of paper inside and it is definitely refillable. I love the little compass bookmark. I'm not quite sure what the metal clip is for, but it is not unattractive. The leather scuffs easily/quickly--it already has numerous scratches on it and I have only had it about a week. It is a lower quality of leather than I was expecting, but appropriate for the price. The little strap to keep it closed slides in and out easily, but not so easily that it accidentally falls open. I am glad I purchased it. If you order refills, make sure you are ordering the correct size. The paper refills suggested by Amazon were the wrong size.

Although I have been referred to as the "Arrow" as it looks like the leather bound book of names.
Having 3 types of paper formats Line, blank, and grids is a nice touch. Let me know after trying them all out i prefer grids and will look for those refills in the future.
