I have been using these brushes for a year now, and all but the tiniest brush are still in perfect shape, with no loss of bristles. The smallest brush did begin to lose bristles after about 6 months. I would definitely buy these brushes again. The set has a size that works in every hole, crevice, or tube I need to clean. Bristles are moderately soft, so will not scratch but have enough body to clean out residue from drinking straws and other tight places.

These are great. I use them to clean my pet fountain pump, my oral irrigator, bottles and even their accompanying straws. They are flexible rather than stiff, but if you need to really scrub you can just use a thicker size to get traction.
