Removed the old ignitor, unplugged the wires, installed the new one after reconnecting the wires. Installed a AA battery, and tested. Took me 4 minutes, I was taking my time.

It was an almost perfect replacement. My Sears grill needed a 5-lead unit, but I couldn't find one on Amazon so I ordered a 6-lead. I found a video on YouTube (I believe it was from Onlyfire) that mentioned to run a wire to ground (the frame of the grill) from any unused leads. This keeps the spark from jumping to a neighboring open terminal. Hopefully this tip will help anyone else who bought a unit with extra terminals.
