Had to get per the vet. Hope it works

Had used this for my scotty for a few years. I can not be sure if it helped but hoping it offered some aid . Product has all necessary items for his condition which eventually took his life. If your looking for a good supplement for your dogs hepato support I suggest buying this. I later learned there were a few other problems that just could not be remedied yet further research led me to find that coffee may have helped if my dog taken a cup once a day for a while along with increased choline intake to lower ALT levels. Here is what is in the hepato support. The active ingredients per capsule are Milk Thistle Extract 100 mg, Inositol 20 mg, Choline 20 mg, DL-Methionine 20 mg, Pantothenic Acid (calcium pantothenate) 10 mg, Vitamin B-1 (thiamine) 5 mg, Vitamin B-2 (riboflavin) 5 mg, Vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine) 5 mg, Alpha Lipoic Acid 5 mg, and Vitamin B-12 ( cyanocobalamin) 10 mcg.

I liked it very much. I bought it fot my dog's liver.

Easy to put into pill pocket or food

About a year and a half- two years ago I took my Chihuahua mix in for his then annual dental cleaning. When I went to pick him up that afternoon I was informed that the labs taken before the procedure indicated that he'd had liver failure. I had noticed no changes in his behavior aside from the fact that he'd suddenly started peeing around the house. I thought he was just "acting out." It never occurred to me that he might actually be sick. Anyhow, it was just fool's luck that we caught it when we did because many pet owners don't catch the disease until it's in its final stages. The vet sold me these exact same vitamins for an obscene amount of money with no indication of how long my minion would need to take them. Some research on the internet clarified that he'd need to take the vitamins for life. Cash was pretty tight back then and I was terrified that I wouldn't be able to afford the treatments. I'm not sure what made me check Amazon to see if I could find the vitamins here. Am I ever grateful I did! The exact same vitamins were much cheaper than the ones I'd previously purchased from my vet and they were shipped right to my door within two days. As for the results, within a week or so of taking the vitamins, my previously mild-mannered dog had the energy of a puppy! When he returned for his follow-up visit 30-days after his diagnosis his labs were back to normal where they've been ever since. He's still doing well (knock on wood!), and has never missed a single dose of this medication. Aside from the fact that I've significantly cut back on his favorite high-fat treats (he loves cheese and peanut butter- never at the same time though), the rest of his diet is pretty much the same as it was prediagnosis. He also gets his teeth cleaned twice a year now just to be extra safe.
