DOES NOT FIT HomeRight Super Finish Max Extra C800971 !!!
Kevin Etheridge•November 13, 2017
I'm disappointed that this product was recommended by Amazon to buy with the paint sprayer I bought (HomeRight Super Finish Max Extra C800971) but it does not actually fit properly. The concept is quite good, but you have to hold the tube in the intake of the paint sprayer - there's no way to clamp it in there. That's disappointing. It should not be recommended with the above product. Must have been made for an older product. I'd not buy it again and would not recommend it.
Doesn’t make cleaning up that much faster

The rapid clean attachment wasn't much more efficient for cleaning the paint sprayer than using the method described in the paint sprayer instructions. I tried using this in both our bathroom sink and garden hose, but the hose detached several times despite fixing the clamp multiple times. You still need to clean all the removable parts separately and can't use at all with oil based paints or stains. l It's just OK in my experience, definitely don't think it's required and doesn't make cleaning up that much faster.
Does not come with an extra feeder tube a shown!

Does not come with an extra feeder tube a shown! Other than that it worked fine I guess. You'll want to get a butterfly ball valve to go in between this and the hose if you're not using a sink or you'll be taking a shower whether you want to or not. There's a pressure blow by too so it doesn't destroy the innerts of the gun. I think it worked for the most part but it would have been great to have a venturi tube to feed soap or spirits into it
Works OK

I usually get wet when I use this. First, this should have come with the sprayer, I cleans OK without it but this does make it easier to clean the sprayer. I give it 2 stars because the hose is really on the short side and for some reason the part you put on the faucet/hose sprays too. It sprays hard with very little pressure which makes a mess. I wouldn't buy again, I would get 6' of hose and a faucet adapter for 5 bucks.
Makes the job easy. Honestly

I worked through a big remodel job, and leaned on the Finish Max for all the trim and doors. I ordered this cleaning kit at the same time I ordered the gun, so I didn't really know what to expect.
Technically, you can clean the gun without it, but this makes if far easier and gets the gun cleaner. I hooked it up to my utility sink and used it to force hot water through the nozzle. Makes the job easy.
Honestly, when you look at what you get, you'll probably scratch your head at the price. Hard to see $10 here.
But it's worth it.
