Great Value Baitcasting Reel

Good intro fishing reel. First low profile bait caster I bought when I got back into bass fishing a few years ago. I purchased a second one for a cranking rod I won in a tournament. They are good performing reels and I haven't had any durability or performance issues. I've been very happy with the performance, but I have better reels now which are clearly different than these guys. But that's not going to stop me from using them because they're still light years ahead of the 30 year old gear I was using since a kid.
In summary, it is a value-oriented reel so don't expect high end performance. Its not as smooth, doesn't cast for miles, probably won't last forever, but what are you expecting for

I bought this reel sight unseen because the price was right. As it turns out, it was a great reel. I use this type of reel as a bait caster for catfish believe it or not. The spool is not large which would deter some fishermen from using it as a bait caster. But the spool is big enough. It holds about 125 yards of 20 lb test line, which is more than plenty of line. With it's anti backlash adjustment, and it's spool tension adjustment, you can set it for all weather conditions and can get long good casts. This is a very good reel. I would definitely recommend it.
