Sturdy and well-made

Very sturdy and came with a lot of extra washers. I had a plastic one of these and it cracked. I expect this will be the last one I'll ever have to purchase.

Update: Purchase price was refunded. It was handled via a solicitation from the seller having read my review and photos of the part failure. Most purchasers did not experience this failure so I may have simply received a defective one. I may try this barand again in the future.
Original Review: Noticed small leak a few weeks ago but kept faucet turned off. Replaced washer but leak got worse. Removed rubber grip and discovered split in female threaded part. See photo.

Money saving, well-built attachment

What a great product! It takes a little getting used to not touch the main valve after it's installed. Once you do though, you'll never want to turn that valve again. It makes turning the water on and off very easy. It's especially convenient for people with arthritic hands.
I attached one to my outdoor faucet so I could run two hoses - one to my garden and went to my driveway for washing my cars. I attached two more to my water lines that run to my washing machine. It allowed me to set up a laundry sink without a huge plumbing bill.
I've been using them about six weeks now and not even the slightest little leak. It's a well-crafted product that will save me quite a bit of money.

Impressive Y-Valve, Solid Metal/Brass with no leaks

This is a very high-quality Y valve. Not the junk plastic ones out there, but solid metal (brass) for the valve itself. Only plastic are the shut off knobs and the tightening valve on the top. Could tell this would act like a tank once I opened the box.
Been using it for over a month. No leaking, no shutters or shakes when water is running through it, and no issues. I bought two of them. One I am just running two hoses off of it, no issues. The other one has a hose on one side and a drip-hose timer. The timer is not small nor light, but no issues at all hooking it up or being solid. Very tight connection, so no leaks nor concern of it breaking.

Seems well made. I tried a plastic/metal version of this from a different manufacturer and had two come apart during normal use so I tried this brass one. So far is seems fine. No leaks and it shuts off just fine. My only complaint would be that the shut-off levers are hard to turn even with the large handles. Maybe they will get a little looser after more use.
