best value truck rack

Easily the best value in truck racks, in my opinion. For under $200, you get a lightweight aluminum rack - very impressive. The rack itself is nice - nice thick strong aluminum bars. The base and connecting parts are just painted steel, but I think that's the perfect tradeoff between strength, weight, and cost.
I admittedly did have an issue with one of the crossbeam gussets - it was poorly welded together and did not fit. However, I e-mailed the company and they sent me a replacement part THE NEXT DAY. To have that level of customer service for a high-value item like this is pretty great.

I have used these racks for several trips with kayaks attached. They take about 10 min to install or take off. I have them on a Ford F150 2016 Crew cab. Good product for the money.

Easy to install/uninstall. Once you get it figured out and assembled you can easily put it on and take it off in about 10 minutes. Strong and stable, no wind noise that I've noticed. I use for ladders and a 17' canoe, very pleased.
Perfect Kayak Carrier

I used it for the first time today hauling my kayaks 40 miles to the coast. I can say that it worked perfectly in combination with some Husky ratchet tie downs and soft ties. I have a couple 13ft Perception Pescador Tandem kayaks and this rack is like it was meant to haul them. In the parking lot I received several compliments on how well it matched my silver Ram 2500 4x4.

Rust, after two weeks on the truck the brackets that hold the uprights to the truck bed rail are rusted, I will attempt to return this item for this reason, rust will affect the structural integrity of the product.
