The sword is beautiful as I examined it I didn't find any major flaws and I did use some martial art techniques with the sword it didn't fall apart it is a display piece.
You want a hacking knife get machete or Bowie.
This is wonderful show piece. You want sword as weapon get a samurai sword and good ones goes into the thousands. To the seller very pleased with this purchase. As I said it's a great show piece.
One thing the box the sword comes in could be a stronger cardboard the packing from Amazon is excellent. I may purchase another.
