I bought these drops as a recommendation of my optometrist. I never felt like my eyes were irritated by dryness, but as soon as I put these drops in I felt like my life was a lie. Not sure what the science is behind the artificial tears, but I have tried regular drops and they didn't feel nearly as good as these did.

Hard to find these ingredients anymore. It's my favorite and just a few years was everywhere even Walmart and the Dollar store, but more gooey ethylene glycol drops and a slew of other ingredients seem to have almost completely pushed this excellent classic mix off the market.

These feel more like natural tears than any other drops I have tried, but don't last very long. Okay for hour to hour life, but not great for staring at a monitor or driving for many hours.
The drops that end up on my cheeks don't make my skin break out like glycerine heavy formulas, which leads me to use them as often as possible except for long drives.
