Good quality, not for chewers

My two year old likes it but for him he needs a little more time to really enjoy it since he is on the spectrum. I love the bright colors and quality of the pegs. I do wish the foam board was harder because my son still chews on things so this isn't very durable for us. I didn't realize it was made of foam when I ordered.
A toy for many purposes and many ages

We got this for my almost two-year-old as a gift, and the moment she opened it, she went to playing and building right away. The funny thing was, an 18 month old and a 6 year old both saw what it was and came over to start playing too! Needless to say, this peg board set was a hit. It's easy to figure out, and the pegs are great for little hands to handle. I'm also impressed that it doesn't tip over, even when a big tower of pegs is built far on one side. Great fun.
Recommended for play and learning

I absolutely love this peg board set. There are 9 bright colors that keep my sons (1 and 3) interested in playing. My 1 year old is right side delayed and is in occupational therapy and this set is amazing for his development. He love playing with the pegs to build a tower and strengthen his grasp and learn colors at the same time. My 3 year old love the pattern challenges.

Pros:
- Peg pieces are large and bright, easy to handle for both my 1 year old and 4 year old.
- Pegs can be easily stacked on the board and easily removed.
- Pegs interlock well.
- Just the right amount of pieces.
- The board is study.
- Digital pattern cards are included and one physical card.
- Encourages quiet play and doesn't require batteries.
Cons
- The advertised pattern card is small. My son plays with similar toys at school and I thought he's be able to put the card behind the board and see the colors he should be adding to make that pattern.
- This version does not come with a storage case; you can buy it, but I just keep them in a shoe box.

For the price, I was a little skeptical when I open the box and saw one foam board and thirty pegs and only one pattern card. Nonetheless, I got it out for my two year olds and 9-12 month olds. The two year olds immediately took to it right away! I didn't give them any instruction, just set it in front of them and watched what they did. Immediately they placed all the pegs in the holes, then switched to making towers then put all the pink ones together .... and it went on and on.....I think they played with it the first time for well over an hour! That alone made it worth the price!! And because they were experimenting on their own...BONUS! That's the best way to learn in my opinion! The babies loved it as well....they just liked picking up the pegs and carrying them around or putting them in a bucket and the one year old tried putting them in the foam board after watching the two year olds but will need more time to develop that skill! They still watched everything that the bigger kids did and I know it will not be long before they are doing similar things with the pegs and board. Well worth the money...I highly recommend it. One drawback as another reviewer brought up.....I have between 4 and 6 kids every day.....I will need another set...there are plenty of pegs for 2 children....but anymore than that and you will need an additional set! ha!
