I got this feeder because we have a squirrel problem and they were eating me out of house and home. This feeder put a stop to the squirrels. All they could do is eat off the ground. It holds 5 pounds of seed which means I don't have to fill it every day, it is pricey, but well worth it I would recommend it to anybody who has squirrel problems. You will save money and food alone.

This is our second Droll Yankee bird feeder of this model. We love it, but the plastic tube can get cracked and yellowed over the years. They do not sell a replacement tube, so a new one is necessary. But still the best one out there!

After a few rounds of squirrels jumping incredible distances and hanging on the bottom, we finally got it far enough away. Would highly recommend using this on an isolated stand with squirrel protection. Feeder itself seems high quality.
