The reviews seemed overall positive but the negative ones made the product seem to have real issues - I'm so glad I trusted the positive ones. These are the best fabric blinds I've ever used. Short of spending much more money on permanent, professionally installed blinds I'm not sure you could get a better result. They are light filtering, not opaque and not room darkening (I got the natural color) which is perfect for serving as privacy blinds. They were incredibly easy to install and I am amazed at how strong the adhesive was immediately after "sticking" it. The cordless and clipless raising/lowering feature is very smooth and worked perfectly on all four blinds that I purchased. It's only been a few hours but I love them.

My wife and I were looking for new shades for our home. We hated the cords and these looked easy enough. NOTE: These do not cut very easy with a straight blade. The first cut was a nightmare. I had to stop and find and alternative. I eneded up using a serrated bread knife which was MUCH easier. We liked them so much we purchased 3 more for the house. We did have an issue with the tape not sticking to the paint, which could be due to it being new paint. The easy fix is the double sided red 3M tape. That stuff is amazing, and the one problem one hasn't moved. I wouldn't call these temporary install as the tape could DEFINITELY take down some paint with it. Keep that in mind. They are a little sloppy going back up, but for the price, I think they're worth it.

Purchased two identical shades. One has held up extremely well and the other not at all. On the right side of the plastic base, it has separated completely and the shade can't be raised and lowered. Both shades are raised and lowered the same amount of times; I can't understand why one is falling apart and the other isn't. Anyway, I'm going to try and work something out with the seller because all the windows in my apartment have this type of shade; all are working fine; just this one Easy Lift Trim-at-Home Cordless Pleated Light Filtering Fabric Shade White, 36 in x 64 in, (Fits windows 19"- 36").

Update: Easy Life jumped right in and sent me new shades. They back up their product no matter what which is unheard of in this day and age! Thank you for the super (superior) customer service!

Easy to trim and easy to install they're great at letting through the filtered light while giving me the privacy I need them for. I did find, with previous ones purchased, that the tape strip used to fasten the shade to the upper window frame doesn't stick too well if your window frame is a rough cut wood surface as mine were. All I had to do to solve this minor issue was to take a few short drywall screws and,spacing them out every 4 inches or so, screw the mounting portion of the shade to the window frame - using the screws behind the pleats so they cannot be seen when the shade is pulled down. Also, I highly suggest being "nice" when pulling the shade down. Use both hands, grab the shade right underneath where the strings go through the pleats and gently pull the shade down. Doing that instead of grabbing it with one hand in the middle and yanking it down will greatly extend the life of the shade (I'm speaking from experience here!). I've had three of these blinds installed in my office for almost three years now. The ones I was reasonable gentle with are all still working beautifully. The one I was "rough" with, I've had to do a few minor repairs on, but even with that it's still in use.

Just really doesn't block the light. Not worth the price. (Was also bent and broken in one part upon arrival - not the manufacturer's fault - but shows how flimsy it is.) Was easy to install though. Attaching photos - at 5:45 pm in July we have plenty of shade but it's still super bright in here.
