It is a stick under $20 but my eyes were pleased upon opening the box. First of all, The finishes are very nice, much better than those cheap plastic looking. Secondly, the small tripod is very solid (feel heavy in hand). I tried both cell phone and gopro on it. No worries at all. The remote worked well with my iphone. I am yet to see how long it will last but it's a super simple shutter click so I won't be super stressed on it.

Tia is a great selfie stick. It's sturdy, and easy to use. It also has a cool bluetooth button for easy capture of group shots. I use this with an iPhone 7+ and love it. Great product for the value.

This selfie stick is more practical and has more uses than any other than I have seen in the last few years. I really like that it has a tripod that can be attached to the bottom of the pole. I can put the pole in place, pose will my family and then take the photo with the remote control. This is so much better than trying to reach the pole far enough away from me for a decent shot.

The top of the pole has a connection like the GoPros use. You can remove the phone holder and put a different one on if you choose. This also gives me the option of using my GoPro with the stick. The phone holder can be adjusted to achieve the angle that you want.

The pole is telescoping. You simply pull to achieve the desired length and then twist to lock it into place. The tripod attaches by screwing it to the bottom of the pole. The legs flip out and lock into place. The allows me to get the correct distance so I can take a photo with landscape backgrounds.

The pole comes with two straps. I used one as a wrist stap on the remote control. The other strap is a velcro strip that I used to hold the remote to the pole when storing it. This ensures that I won't lose the remote.

The remote was very easy to pair with my iPhone. It comes with a CR2032 battery already installed and an extra one included in the package. I also received an instruction booklet.

I really like the design of this stick but after reading some of the reviews, I was a bit concerned about quality. Then I read in some of the comments that there had been a redesign of this product. The stick that I received seems to be very well built and no part has failed during it's use.

This is great. I love that it can be used as a selfie stick or a tripod. Both features work great. The length can be adjusted which is awesome. I have had no issues with the remote that links to my Bluetooth, it works great.

CLEVER CONCEPT

The FONESO Tripod/Selfie Stick is indeed a clever amazing concept as most reviews suggested.

I'm using it with my iPhone7 in a slim case. We tried it on my husband's iPhone with a bulkier OtterBox case and it fits as well.

I like that it's a 2-in-1 product that serves the purpose I basically need: [1] primarily as tripod when watching movies/vlogs/webinars and [2] as selfie stick for (non-extreme) activities and photo/video opps.

It is compact enough for portability and storage. The bluetooth remote makes taking selfies easier and the strap goes around my wrist perfectly for security when on the go. The $17 price is reasonable, too.

QUESTIONABLE DURABILITY OF THE HOLDER BUT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE

One major problem though is that the holder fell apart while it was standing freely (with my phone in it). I have not used it harshly so I wasn't sure if it was the material or I just got a defective one. I inquired with the seller regarding replacement explaining how it broke and I received a prompt response. They immediately replaced the broken part. I would have given a lower rating but their impressive customer service sufficed and because the product, in general, is good.

I'm uncertain if it is for added durability or just aesthetics but the new holder now has a metal part instead of the former all-plastic one (shown in attached photo). Either way, I hope it won't break again because it's helpful.

Other than the frequent online streaming use, I can see this item as a staple to our trips, being a couple that usually struggle taking nice travel photos. I've seen the unfavorable feedback on its reliability but for what I'm using it for, it works so far. If it's still this satisfying come Christmas time, we might repurchase for gifting.
