We got one for each of our kids and their spouses with their anniversary dates as the "established" dates, but there are several styles of engraving available. Our kids loved them (someone had given us one as a gift). The boards are beautiful, dark wood (you can use the side without engraving, if you really want to use it as a cutting board -- ours is just for decoration). American Laser Crafts responded immediately and did laser engraving exactly as ordered. We would order these again as neat and unusual gifts and would not hesitate to order products from American Laser Crafts..

Looking for a fun gift. Get your friends, family or employees this one. This was a beautiful piece that you can display. The detail and design with your family name was ornate. My boss bought me one that was slightly smaller and we liked it. We purchased a personalized board for some close friends last year for their anniversary and the other company took 3 months to get it to us. This company got it to us fast with in a week. I bought this cutting board as a gift, and my friends absolutely loved it. I bought it as a bridal shower gift, and I would recommend it for someone else to buy. The board was a fairly large cutting board (not too think, though) with wording and placement etched based on your customization. There was no fraying of the wood where the laser had etched, which I was happy about. The only reason I gave this board 4 stars is because when it was first sent, they spelled the last name incorrectly, even after I had sent a follow up email asking them to double check the spelling I had sent in the email. I was very upset that the computer tech did not take the time to program the printer correctly, which indicated a lack of diligence on their part; however, after expressing my concerns, they IMMEDIATELY sent me a new board with the correct spelling free of charge. I would order from here again.
