I already own a pair of black leather Doc's Bonny Boots, and I love them. These are not those. These are made of some amazing type of tough canvas, and I was skeptical if they would be as supportive as my old Doc's. But I decided to try them because the price was great. And, I'm sure glad I did! I received this pair a couple of days ago, unboxed them and am impressed. Most Doc's take 2 weeks to a month to break-in, but after two days, they feel pretty darn great. These shoes are well-made and well-worth the money. I wear them with dresses, but I think they'd go with anything. For the price, I might get a pair just to wear with my PJ's!

These are a good indoor, boot that look nice and are fairly comfortable. I wear them outdoors, on my bike in cold weather and with 2x wool socks they manage to be pretty warm. Indoors they are breathable and comfortable.
What they don't do so well is wear well for walking, especially in wet weather. They offer almost no water resistance, and they run large. Even with big wool socks on I find my foot just sloshes around inside and my heel moves this way and that, so that after a few miles I can start to feel blisters forming.

I was trying to look for something in between a shoe and a boot. These wre perfect. I've had Docs in the past but never ones with a canvas/leather combo.
I am a 10.5 but these only sell in even sizes, so I got the 10 and they fit perfect and they are very comfortable.with great arch support. Hope this helps someone who has similar size.
