The flavor of the sticks were good, however after eating I had some really really bad nausea and upset stomach. I was looking at one of them closer and I noticed I could peel it like a sausage. I don't remember other beef sticks I've eaten have a layer I could peel. Anyway, I'm not really sure if that layer is meant to be peeled or is considered edible, but it's what was wrecking my insides so bad. I took two stars off since they really need to label something for morons like myself that if you don't peel it, you may be having a royally upset stomach and burping up the flavor for 10+ hours after eating it.

These are convenient! We loved them so much we put them on auto-ship so that they are sent to the house every month. These are nice because they do not have to be refrigerated. They also meet our standards for grass-fed, organic, and with as little processed as possible. We try and stick to a paleo and low-carb diet since my hubby is a diabetic. He keeps them in the console of his truck, in the gym bag, etc, and the nice big package of them means they last us for a few weeks as well.

I have been looking for a good quality beef stick that does not have a lot of fillers and won't break the bank. I used to buy from Grass Run Farms but their beef sticks kept shrinking while cost went up! I am very happy with the quality of the beef and will be a customer from this point on.
