Dependable - last about 4 hours of light.

These lights are the first solar lights that have worked predictably.. I know that eventually the battery will no longer hold a charge, and I'll replace. Don't expect them to last all night. If you have it on the lowest setting they will last longer. For my use 4 hours of light is enough, If you need true security lighting, versus the accent lighting I am using, then have an electrician put in real lights. I'm in Washington, with tall trees and only charging perhaps 3 hours, they still will work with less solar charging that someone would get in California.

The service with the company that supplies these LED lights was very good and they arrived promptly. However, the first set that we ordered did not function so we were credited with having ordered two lights. We decided to try another set of two lights, waited for at least 12 hours for solar absorption and those lights worked. In the meantime the first set were given more time to absorb solar energy and now they too are working. The one thing that I wish all of the lights had is a taller stake to put in the ground. By the time that you securely place it in the ground the light is fairly close to the path and the light shadow is shorter than if it were on a taller stake.

Purchased a two pack for my Dad in AZ to test it out. It wasn't exactly what he was looking for (he wanted pathway lights and these are more like spotlights) however he decided to use these to light the front porch/door area. He told me that so far they work GREAT - bright light and last almost from dusk to dawn. They've only been up a few weeks so far - but are doing great. Very happy with the purchase even though they weren't originally what he was looking for. I would buy again if I had a need for spotlight type lights.

Bought a pair and only one is working now. One of them only lasted 2 weeks before it just stopped working. The other one works fine. The light is not very bright but that's fine in my case since I use it to light the palm trees. I would give it 4 stars if both had been working still. Can't recommend it.
