I got these to make my AKG K501 headphones with a failing connection into detachable cord headphones. I'm sure somewhere out there, theres a guy with a 1500$ solid silver braided cable cringing, but so far, there is no longer any popping or scratching because of the kinked cable, and the soldering was some of the easiest I've ever done in my life. So I'm very happy I bought these, and if you are considering getting a few to make some previously corded headphones cordless, by all means, these are what you want. They grip the cable very strongly also, so you dont need to worry about the cord getting yanked out of them by anything.

I bought these so I could perform a detachable cable mod on my Takstar HI2050 headphones and use my V-Moda BoomPro to make a gaming headset. Everything worked great easy to solder the wires, compact enough to fit inside the headphones and at a great price. So why the 4 stars?
The jack for some reason feels tight, the V-Moda to get it to actually fit I have to rotate and push slowly. The first time I put an aux cord in I had to use force and then it got stuck and I had to use pliers to remove the cord. After a day it seems to work better it's easier to remove the cords although I still have to rotate the V-Moda.
I recently found out you can find these on ebay, 10 pieces for around 2 dollars free shipping from china.
