As expected.

Works great. I bought a cascade water fall and needed a new motor for it.

I wore out the other pump when fountain ran out of water. So glad they had a replacement part--we are back in business. Love this solar pump!

First, the product works. So that's the good news. It looks pretty so that's a plus too. It is a bit small. I know the description has the size but it's still a bit weird when you get it. The bad news is that it's not very powerful. The water doesn't "bubble" very much. We put a rock near the top to get it to make a little more of a water dripping sound. I mean overall it's nice but for the price it's not a super value hence the 3 stars.

Cosmetically it's beautiful...but as others have pointed out, it is EXTREMELY light weight and needs to be modified (tied pinned or weighted) to work if it will be outside and taking wind. PRO: pump is surprisingly strong and solar panel is a good size for the job at hand. CON: 1) very sensitive solar panel...the slightest cloud in front of the sun cuts the power out. Near zero chance of using this as a dependable aerator for livestock (fishes, tadpoles in pond, etc) + if you don't live in a sunny city/area you will be disappointed how often the pump cuts out, and 2) FRAGILE: despite good packing it arrived cracked (pump is packed on side near thigh of mermaid and its weight cracked a wide section in transit/drop, etc). I contacted the mfg thru Amazon regarding the damage on arrival but the mfg was slow to reply, ignored the pic of damage I sent and ultimately did nothing to remedy the problem. We resigned to run the fountain as it is a hide the crack with landscaping. SUMMARY: beautiful but poorly made and not a good value.
