These are not airtight which I find sad. I love the design and the creativity that went into making these but they do not seal tightly. I have to be careful about how I handle them because the lids come off easily.

I don't often write a review, but I absolutely love this product! The reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I usually don't trust or read those reviews. The only legitimate reasons I could think of for removing a star is that it may take a little trial & error to properly apply the tops. Once you've got it figured out, they seal very well. It would be best not to fill to the very top of the lid and to store the full container upright. I'm also having to rack my brain to find a use for the 8 oz. container--maybe supplements for my smoothies or small craft supplies.

IMO you can't find a better deal than the Joseph Joseph 98193 twin pack. At first I thought most of the containers would be too small; so I first bought a 10-piece set from another store. It included the 101 oz. size, but cost $34.99 compared to the twin pack for only $25. I found that the 63 oz. containers in the twin pack held more than I thought possible. I now have 3 sets of these containers to use for meal prep, and have ordered Joseph Joseph 81009,12-Piece which contains the 101 oz. and 152 oz. https://www.amazon.com/Joseph-81009-Containers-Microwave-Safe-Multicolored/dp/B00IJBCBPE. These take up so little space and saves so much time not having to hunt for the right tops. I'm getting rid of all my other plastic containers--so many that can't even fit in the cupboards.

Lids don't fit. I purchased a set for the boat because they are nesting and have been very disappointed. I have to use rubber bands to keep the lids in place. There is a major design flaw.

Wife bought these without reading the reviews apparently. Same experience here. They don't seal easily and if you push down hard they lip will dent preventing it from ever sealing properly. Stay away.

These are horrible containers. I cannot get any of them to close properly. My cheap Rubbermaid Easy-Find Lids containers are far superior. I'm ready to throw these expensive containers out to by the Rubbermaids.
