These socks are terrible! I was so excited to find 100% cotton socks, but these are worthless. They are paper thin and after one wash and one wear, the edges are unraveling. Total garbage.

Horrible! I bought 6 or of socks! 3 black and 3 white. Awful! Too long and too wide! Not true to size at all! I cannot wear them! I tried two pair. So disappointed! I always take that size socks... . For over 53 yrs I have been the same size! This is the first time I've seen incorrect sizing! I need seamless toe socks and was really looking forward to having them! Terribly disappointed! Feel that I was ripped off!

My Wife wanted me to write a review about these socks... She loves the feel of these socks. She needs to wear 100% cotton socks from a doctors recommendation. I bought two packs for 6 pairs of socks for her and I am buying another 3 pairs again. She is a size 7 in shoe and we order the 9 (Fits Show Size 6-7) socks, she said they fit like a glove.

I bought "Sierra Socks" last year and they were nice. I bought them now and they are not even marked "Sierra Socks". They are cheap and shoddy. They are not the same socks. They said they would fit shoe sizes 7 1/2 to 9. I wear shoe size 9 and these socks are HUGE. I wore a pair so can't return them. I am disappointed Amazon. Luckily you are usually so good that I have decided to forgive you for selling me these crumby socks.

TLDR: pure cotton, true to shoe size, rather thin.

Longer version:
1) the ones I got were definitely 100% cotton. Both according to the tag and because of how they feel and look. There's a very thin rubber or synthetic band at the very top to prevent the top from sliding down, but it doesn't touch the skin and is not binding. There's no synthetic component in the fabric itself. I'm sensitive to these things and used to paying attention, so I would be able to tell.

2) I ordered my usual shoe size and they fit perfectly. Wouldn't advise going a size up (like the sock sizing usually works). They fit moderately tightly, again, not binding at all, but not being too loose anywhere either. I have relatively wide feet though.

3) they were thinner than I hoped :( I primarily needed them to keep my feet warm at home, but they are too thin and don't do the job in winter. Come warmer weather, they'll be fine, but right now I have to layer them with another pair of socks. It feels like they'll be too thin to wear with winter boots as well, plus I'm worried about the fabric ripping quicker that way.

Will update the rating if something else comes up. They are decent and comfortable as thin cotton socks.
