Love these socks. I need warm socks because I am outdoors for hours during the winter. I hated how some socks just make my feet sweat, then they feel cold and wet. These socks do NOT make my feet sweat but keep them warm. They are so soft, not itchy at all. I would not put these socks in the dryer though. After machine washing them in cold water, I hang dry them and they dry very quickly. I didn't need socks that came up so high up my calves, because I wear boots in the winters. Just needed something to keep my feet and most importantly my toes warm.

Gifted these to myself for Christmas and I could not be happier! They are lovely to look at, extremely comfy and cozy to wear, and now that I've had a chance to wash them all, they seem to have come through the was (and dry!) wonderfully well. They're warm but don't leave my feet feeling sweaty and gross. My sister-in-law bought some for herself last year and says they're still holding up great, so I have high hopes that these will last a long time. Excellent product for an excellent price!

I wanted to wait until I washed and wore these socks a few times to post my review, so here it is"¦ I'm actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of the socks. I live in an area where it snows in the winter and gets cold, so I was looking for socks that I could wear around the house with my flannel pajamas so my feet didn't get cold, and these fit the bill. The colors are accurately represented by the product photograph, and they appear to be well constructed. I did read some other reviewer's comments about a chemical smell, and I believe this is likely due to a standard wool treatment as it has faded with washing. Honestly not that big of a concern--unless you are sticking the socks up your nose instead of wearing them on your feet. When you are dealing with any material that has wool in it, I do recommend air drying the socks instead of throwing them in the dryer, though. They will hold up and fit better in the long term. I just clip mine to a hanger and let them dry overnight in the laundry room (See photo). If you live in a humid climate it may take slightly longer. Overall, after a few washes and wears I'm happy with these socks, and I really appreciate the simple design and colors as opposed to some of the crazy patterns and colors I've seen on other winter socks here on Amazon. I would definitely buy more socks of this brand as long as the colors and patterns were appealing.

I bought these socks because they are mainly made of natural fibers, which I really like. To be honest, I was a little leery, because it seemed too good to be true. But, after wearing them almost nonstop while touring around a city I was visiting during warmish weather, I'm a convert. They are comfortable, breathable and non irritating. They had a manufacturing odor, which dissipated during a cold wash and a turn in the dryer, which they survived without a problem. I take a 9 1/2 size shoe, and these definitely had to stretch a bit to fit, but even that wasn't a problem. They shaped themselves to my foot without stretching out over my toes. The first stripe over the heel part of the sock just sits at a slant on my foot. But the socks don't shift, and in fact they sort of had my foot shape when I took them off at the end of the day. I consider these a great bargain. Very happy with the purchase!
