Purchased 2 of these to make soap with. They are sturdy and stand up alone by themselves without the need to put them into a wooden mold. They don't quite hold 2lbs of soap. But, I knew this before buying them after calculating how much they would hold, so I have on hand something else to put the little bit extra in which amounts to basically 1 to 2 small bars of soap depending upon how high I put in my soap. I'd buy again and recommend to others. Thanks for offering these at a nice value.

If you are careful about how you use this thing should come out great. After melt and pour into this mold I put them in the fridge to cool and they came out excellent

I bought 2 of these soap molds for making homemade soaps for my family. I have used them around 10 times each and so far they have held up perfectly. The mold is a nice thick silicone that holds it shape very well. The product washes well so far too. I would recommend these for anyone looking for a reasonable mold to start soap making. I do line the bottom on the molds to make it easier to get them out, but I have done it without the liner. It is just a little more tedious without the liner.

I began experimenting with making soap only within the last year, and I only make it for our own use (and anybody I want to give it to!). I'm not interested in "pretty" product, just good quality product that is gentle and effective and I know what's in it, and I only make small batches when we're going to need it. This is my first mold - I had been using a parchment paper-lined box. This is the perfect size for us, makes it easy for me to cut the loaf into bars when I pop it out, and easy to clean. I really like this product.
