My first pair of Golden Fox moc toes. I went a half size smaller and they fit perfect. Leaves enough room for some thicker socks if you wear them. First impression out of the box they look bad ass. I immediately put them on at work when I got them and as soon as I walked out the office I started getting compliments. Felt great for wearing them on the first day and I know they will soften up more as I I continue to wear them. For $75 bucks you cannot beat this quality and price. Great style especially with some dark jeans. Can be worn out to the bar or anywhere a casual boot is needed. Great for work which is what I needed. I highly recommend. I'll update this review after I have worn them for awhile. Hoping the quality is good and they hold up. If they do then I will continue to purchase this brand.

11/28/18 boots are holding up well. I wear them every day. Have received more compliments with these boots than anything else I've ever worn. Very comfortable. They did have a little breaking in to do but only about a week or so. Love these. Highly recommend. Will purchase again.

I had a pair of boots like these when I was a kid, (Yeah I was a little weird, as other kids were wearing tennis shoes, my 2 buddies and me were wearing boots like these) anyway I decided to give them a try, I went to my local boot store and tried a pair on, they were great except for the price, they were $165.00 I went to Amazon and found these for about $80.00 so I thought I would give them a try and I'm glad I did, these boots are great for what I need them for. I'm 67 years old and I'm retired so I'm not going to be to hard on any pair of boots, the boots at the store were a very well known brand, and they very well may be a tougher boot but I don't see how they could be, and they were made in China too! The first thing I did was I treated them with a very good brand of waterproofing, it turned the leather a little darker, just a nice golden brown color, but I have wore them in the rain and through wet grass with no problem of wet feet. I like my boots to fit a little loose, the boots at the store we're 11 1/2 W so I ordered these in size 12 and with a thick pair of cotton socks they fit me perfectly.

I am a fan of the particular design of the Golden Fox and they were at the right balance point between price, aesthetics and functionality for me. I am particularly happy that they're easy to clean and that my feet don't hurt after an 8 hour work shift with over 20000 steps. I also wear them outside of work. I would definitely recommend these boots. I've only used them a few weeks though, on average twice/three times a week. Will update if needed.

I'd give them a 2 star rating for durability.
They look sharp and are great for warehouse/construction. I've walked around theme parks in Florida during the summer and my feet did not hurt as much as they would have if I was wearing Nike's. I'm a boot guy so that's important. The metal loop hole rivets bent the first time I laced them up. Super cheap metal, but they didn't cut the laces or cause any discomfort. The pictures I've posted with this review is what they look like after 8 months of wearing to work everyday. I work in irrigation distribution so I'm either in a warehouse or on a job site in the mud helping contractors.
The are great for the price and very comfortable, but if you're looking for something to last over a year until you get another boot voucher from your employer, these ain't it.

TLDR: they're great if you're on a budget

I just got my golden fox boots in today. I love them they are very nice boots and out of the box comfy. The leather will require some break in but that's fine because the boots are great quality as far as I can tell. The wedge soles are firm but have plenty of toe room and support but I'm flat footed and don't require arch support so these are perfect for me. The reason for four stars is the tongue. The tongue is padded and looks and feels great but simply isn't wide enough. I will posts pics in a while when I get ready but once tied the tongue doesn't cover the entire front part of my foot it is a little annoying but manageable. I am happy with my boots.

I have now wore these boots for a full month and I have bought myself some sof sole memory foam insoles and I like the boots. The tongue did take some getting used to. On the sides of the tongue where they connect it to the two sides of the boot there seems to be an excess of leather or material or maybe it's just too thick? But either way more used to the tongue and it doesn't hurt at all but during my first couple of weeks the tongue did hurt my foot if I tied them too tight. I have since oiled the boots twice in the past month and I will say the leather acts much differently than most boots I have owned. These boots get so much softer and nicer with each oil I am very happy with my purchase my only complaint is how the tongue could have been wider and solved some the problems associated with it.
