Increased Pain After Wearing

I bought these to help ease my bunionettes and they caused major pain in my big toes after wearing for a few nights. They provide very little separation for the pinky toe and compress the big toe uncomfortably. Also, I'm not sure about the fabric composition, but after three nights of wear, I woke up with a rash on my heel and across the top of my foot.

I bought this knowing I would be having surgery in a month for a bunion and a tailors bunion (and other weird foot issues).
Unfortunately, it was very tight and caused additional pain for my individual issues.
If I had only a bunion, I'm sure this would have worked perfectly.
