Awesome bikini top, have had it on for 2 months so far and no complaints. You can leave it on when you put the hard top back on just be ready to fight the grommet holes that the freedom top screw in thingys to get them to line up. You also have to take the bungies off the attachment points on the windshield but you can keep the top from sagging with a little 550 cord tied to keep the center taught and the latches will still work. You also have to engage the latches by pushing through the bikini top. and the bungies are SUPER hard to get on and off! but its a tight secure fit so it doesn't flap.

As long as you arent swapping your top every couple of days no big deal, its well made and you can keep it on but there are a few trade offs. I haven't heard of another bikini top you can keep on without issues either and for the price this thing is great!

The bikini top was packaged well. Sadly no Instructions and ended up looking up a similar product for help. Why? There was no explanation of how to secure the center of the top to the sound bar.

The top itself is made out of durable material and keeps out most of the sun, however the "ball bungee" cords it came with, was a bit tight. (7inch cords) left indentations in the roll cage fabric. The cords couldn't even be used appropriately for the bikini to be secured to the roll cage. It was way too short. Had to go out and buy 12' ball bungie cords. The next issue was they did not send you enough cords.
Overall: good quality but be prepared to buy the correct cords for the rear and not have instructions

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but this one was such a disappointment that I figured I'd add my comments so that folks would stop buying this until the manufacturer fixes the problems.
PRO: Cuts down on sun and wind while you enjoy top off, doors off, freedom of a Jeep. Coverage is good and material seems durable. Front pockets seem like a good idea (but I haven't actually put anything in them yet). Good Value.
CON:
- No instructions. This isn't rocket science but definitely could benefit from some pictures, sequence to attach, etc. I guess if you have to go to YouTube to look at a competitor install video, you should support them with your purchase. I mean how muck would a piece of paper with instruction or a short video cost to avoid all these complaints.
- Bungees are REALLY tight. I get that they need to be tight to keep from flapping and eventually they will stretch some, but these seem crazy tight. Had 2 break (wire ring in the ball not tight enough) when installing the rear corners. I did a MacGyver repair and swapped them to side rails just to keep from breaking a second time.
- Holes for the freedom panel bolts don't line up with shade grommets. Material puckers with bolts installed from above...we'll see how that goes when the top goes back on.
EDIT: put hardtop on last night and rear part of shade is still attached. Had to remove all bungee forward of roll bar to attach freedom panels (not what I would call 'leave in place convenient'). Holes for mushroom bolts were off by a large margin so I couldn't reinstall them.

Bottomline: will return and buy a different shade. Shame on me for reading the numerous complaints and thinking "I'll be able to make it work"

wish i had seen another customers review about how hard and disappointing this product was. it is impossible to install without buying bungees because the bungees that came with the product either will not possibly fit or they break when stretching them. i emailed the company and no response... finally got the product on with GREAT difficulty and by spending additional money on bungees from a local store only to find out it is it possible to place the roof back on with the shade on, even though in the product description it states "never have to remove" . terrible customer service, lousy product and impossible installation.

The top is really nice once installed, just be warned it was a pain in the ass to get it on properly. The bungee connectors I think are a little too tight. I had to use tools to get some of them on, it would be almost impossible with just your hands. It also doesn't come with any instructions, so it took a little bit of guesswork to figure out how it was supposed to go on.

Aside from the frustrations mentioned above, the quality seems on point and the wind noise is surprisingly low. There's just a minor fluttering where the mesh goes over the middle bar, but even at highway speeds you can have normal conversations in the car. It feels great having the wind in your hair without worrying about the sun blinding or burning you during a drive.

I recommend pairing this with a cargo cover for a great weekend setup. See photo.
