Love this fan! It works great! Used it all winter on our wood stove and we were impressed at how quiet and well it worked to distribute the heat. It's not going to feel like it's doing much blowing, but the distribution of heat was amazing! We are going to buy more of these great little machines!

This is definitely a fun novelty item (though a little expensive just for that), and operates silently.
As others have said, it doesn't seem to move air quickly; holding my hand in front of it, it doesn't feel like a desk/window fan would, though if I put a strip of paper in front of it I can clearly see that it's making a breeze.
I didn't really notice a difference in how the heat is distributed, but we weren't having trouble with that before; the house is fairly open to begin with and the wood stove is central.

Ordered this because the fan was 1/3rd the cost of a similar ecofan. Love my Ecofan and wanted another stove fan for a 2nd wood stove we use. Works great, even better than the Ecofan, and we're very pleased. Fan blades are black so perhaps not as attractive as the brass blades on the Ecofan. It does the job.

Worked great for quite awhile, then it started to make a faint ticking noise. The noise grew louder over time and now it is quit loud. It sounds like someone is tapping a coin on a countertop or something to that effect. We use it inside the house at night and it seems to help move the warm air out and away from the stove and around the living room pretty well. Would recommend! Just not 5 stars because of the ticking issue.
