It's so easy to try even as a beginner. First 20 seconds, already felt it in my legs and core. I've always wanted one and now I'm glad I made the purchase. The board almost feels slightly padded so it's comfortable with bare feet.

Bought this to improve my core muscles. I have suffered from lower back pain for about 5 years, sucks I'm not even 30 yet, but that's what you get when you body build before your body finishes growing. My PT a couple years ago used to make me use a balance board to help build the supporting muscles in my back. So I thought it would be a good idea to have one in my own home. This is by far the best one I've used. It requires you to utilize all your core muscles and leg muscles. Although I've had it for a short time. I haven't been able to step off of it. At first I used it against the wall to keep my balance for about a day then I moved it to free space and that's where all the fun begins. I try to go on it for 15-30 min intervals or a TV show length. It's really fun and I can definitely feel the work out in my core. I highly recommend you try this especially if you are having back issues or suffer from back pain, this is a fun way to workout and strengthen those muscles.

Solid board. I'm a big guy, 6'2" 250lbs, and it feels plenty solid. No creaking or cracking. The padding on the top of the board is comfortable when only wearing socks, haven't tried barefooted yet but will eventually. The stops on the bottom are nice too, they catch the roller enough to stop it from flying out from under you. The end of the board just drops to the floor and stops. If you're looking to work on your balance like I am this is a great choice.

45 years ago when I was 8 I tried a balance board at a ski shop. My mom (who I love) said "They want $50 for a board and a roller?" Well she pissed me off last week and I bought one. Now I can't get enough of it! I will be balancing next to the table at Thanksgiving this year giving her the stink eye. DO NOT WAIT 45 YEARS!
