This is a computer tech's dream screwdriver. I've used many and built hundreds of white box computers, Let me go over the features briefly that make this tool ideal for a computer tech.
1. Magnetic tip. Anyone who's ever dropped a screw knows exactly why you need this. Before this purchase I had to do this myself, which doesn't always produce great results. Pre-magnetic was highly appreciated.
2. Long shank. The length is what you need when working with a computer case, as you need to be able to screw things in like the motherboard retention screws.
3. Checked area on shank. This allows you to use your fingers to 'twirl' the screwdriver when screwing something in or out, which is a lot less hand action than wrist twisting. I greatly appreciated this feature because smooth shanks can slip.
4. Rubberized grip. Feels good and the ergonomics are comfortable. Doesn't want to slip from the hand like a traditional plastic grip.
5. Large hole. This allows you to hang this on a hook or tether it to your toolbelt (if you're working in an environment where dropping is an issue. I count this as one of those features I never new I wanted until I found it in this tool.
Honestly I'd like a whole set of these for my workbench if they make one, haven't looked yet.
