Not safe in my opinion.
Kathryn Sheehan•September 17, 2017
I returned this for safety reasons. It reads lockable brakes but they do not lock. And there is only 1 brake, I called the manufacturer and they emailed me instructions. Did not work.
I had 2 physical therapists try and they couldn't do it. without lockable brakes when you are transferring the scooter can and will go out from under you. Very dangerous. Steering very tight, difficult and I am a very strong person. Please for your safety spend the extra money and make sure the brakes lock and that there are 2 brakes, not one. I have ordered a new scooter from Drive, very sturdy, 2 brakes that easily lock and unlock. I feel much safer.

Roscoe Rocks!
Amazon Customer•October 24, 2016
My mother couldn't use any of the so called high-end medical grade scooters. This Roscoe is working great! Now she is talking about going back to work early. NOT! Not to mention the rent per week was what I paid to own this scooter. Our only wish is that it offered a locking brake. Thank you so very much!
Easy to assemble
Liz Carolan•August 14, 2016
Easy to assemble. Works well after foot surgery. Really like the fact that it has a hand break. Seems durable. Wish there was a all terrain tire option. The handle breaks down for travel, but you still need trunk space. Great for home and work. Recommend a basket for shopping
Base model scooter.
Amazon Customer•June 25, 2016
This is a base model scooter. I never thought I would need a mobility device before my 60's. I had ankle surgery for a torn peroneal tendon and have to be non-weight bearing for 6 weeks. I ordered the scooter weeks ahead of my surgery, in order to assemble it and have it ready after my arrival at home. I had to watch the video on "you tube" in order to assemble it. It comes with a manual and it's easy to read, but I'm a visual person. I adjusted the scooter to my height and it has worked good so far. My home is small and maneuvering the scooter has some challenges. In essence it does what it's intended to do.
Crutches Won't Do
G. Kramp•May 28, 2016
Wife broke her foot and using crutches wasn't working out well after she fell 6 times within the first 3-4 hours! The same day she got her cast, we ordered this knee walker and it arrived the next day (under 24 hours with Prime). Now her mobility is 90% normal using this scooter. It was very easy to set up in less than 5 minutes.
