This is a great mix! Yes, it's expensive, but unfortunately gluten free flours are expensive in comparison to wheat flour. I used it to make cinnamon rolls by following the package directions for the Challah dough and then just rolling it out, filling and cutting like cinnamon rolls. Kept in the fridge as shaped dough overnight and then let rise for an hour in the morning. Baked at 375 for about 35 minutes. Not only was the dough super easy to work with in comparison to some other gluten free doughs (albeit a bit sticky), but it baked up to fluffy perfection! Best gluten free cinnamon rolls I've had since being diagnosed with Celiac 4 years ago. And that includes dozens of recipes I've made and tried to adapt myself, and every opportunity I've had to try them from GF bakeries. For my use this made 10 biggish cinnamon rolls and 1 mini loafs of cinnamon babka made from the excess trimmings. So yes, this mix is expensive but it makes a lot and as a treat it is so worth it!
So easy and yummy

I am a pastor and use this mix to make communion bread for my church. Recently we hosted a large gathering of clergy and laity where communion was served. At least a dozen people asked me for "my recipe." Haha! They said they'd never had such delicious gluten free bread!
Incredible!

I had no idea there was a gluten free baking blend in the world that is elastic enough to be braided! Amazing! I do wish the baking tips that Orly emails after purchase had been sent before my order arrived because they would've made a difference. I baked a challah within a few hours of receiving my order and the emailed tips came after it was out of the oven. I will definitely buy the challah blend again, as well as the try the other blends and use Orly's recipes. If the challah turned out this good, the others are also sure to be fantastic!
Pretty good, but expensive

I am new to this gluten-free challah thing (I'm breastfeeding my baby boy who I just found out has multiple allergies including wheat). The kit made 14 challah rolls for me. The one I tried tasted pretty good right out of the oven, though these are very likely the most expensive challah rolls I've ever had (considering the kit cost $16, plus $12 for yeast because it's so hard to find these days, though I'll have plenty to use for the future, then you need some of your own gluten-free flour to add if you want to shape the dough, and not including eggs and oil which are pretty cheap considering). I wish this was cheaper or at least included the yeast. I know I can buy a 3-pack for the cost of 2 individually, but I'm still trying to decide if this is all worth it.

I do have a ton of yeast now, so I'll probably bite the bullet and buy more packages of this mix. After all, I know I won't be making regular challah any time soon.
Wonderful
