Seem like a decent carabiner for the price

Carabiners seem to be of reasonable quality for the price. Much cheaper than buying them individually in local stores. I can say the screw type mechanism is a little sloppy when you back it out (open) all the way, but they seem functional. I don't know how much one can expect given they are about $1.00 per unit.
I have not really tested them yet, just put them on the loops of various back packs where I plan to use them to secure items such as river shoes, baseball hats etc. I have used similar clips for these applications in the past and they worked out very well.

Still calling them "carabiners" is a stretch

Why an odd number 5 pack? Seems to me if you're going to use these in a group it ought be an even number. These aren't made for anything resembling heavy duty. All I wanted them for was to hook the cargo net in my truck bed. For that they work fine. I'm hoping that being cheap aluminum they won't rust. Since I pretty much figured on what I was getting it all worked out well.
Great party favor!

Bought for 5-year-old son's birthday party at zipline park. He really liked them, and a few of the other kids who opened their goodie bags liked them as well. The threaded lock "nut" doesn't have a stopper, so can be completely removed from the spring clip, so be careful not to lose it. Other than that, they served their purpose perfectly as a keychain party favor at a climbing/zipline party.
Carabiners for everyday usage

Use for my work as Carabiners for keys to hold. The ones work provided would always break or snap. These are pretty good so far (have had them for about 3 weeks and no problem!) Would def recommend for keys or just hanging stuff up. Pretty sturdy I'd say. I also use them for my water bottles on my backpack as well.
Good enough for the price

Not mountaineering quality, obviously, but good enough for hanging a couple of bags together or clipping some casual gear onto your pack. The locking screw has no stops on it, it can be unscrewed totally loose onto the shaft, or up off the threads and then it has to be reseated before you can open the carabiner again. So, the screw bit is a mixed blessing, I may take the screw collars off and just toss 'em. Meanwhile, a great way to hang water bottles and other "not a big deal" gear that won't fit on the common 2" keychain 'biners.
