It's ok, nice looking flame, but you can hear the gas coming through the piping at any level of pressure. Not the whistle you get from bad hoses, but a wind type sound as it blows through.

I hooked mine up to natural gas with a 1/2' pipe, and the flame is only about 6 inches high but it whistles like crazy when I open the gas wide open. The Whistling is so bad you can't stand the noise. Not sure if I should drill out the holes bigger?
